Farewell to Norma Symonds.

Coverage of the funeral of former Bishop’s Stortford mayor Norma Symonds, as people lined the town-centre route to pay their respects. The main procession photograph was used on the newspaper’s front page and as the lead image with the inside report.

Editorial coverage of the annual Indies Community Awards, photographing winners, presenters, sponsors, families and guests throughout the evening. The photographs were used across a four-page feature.

Bishop’s Stortford Independent — August 2024
Match coverage from Bishop’s Stortford’s 3–1 pre-season win over Arsenal U21s, combining action, celebration and touchline portraiture across a full sports spread. The club records the match as a 3–1 win on 31 July 2024.

Four days of live music and festival life at Standon Calling, photographed across the stages and festival grounds. The coverage opened the Culture section and continued across a multi-page feature.
Avanti Grange — Outstanding. 
Bishop’s Stortford Independent — June 2025
Photography for a feature marking Avanti Grange Secondary School’s first Ofsted inspection, in which the school was rated Outstanding. The assignment included staff and pupil portraits, classroom photography and images of school life, with one photograph used prominently on the front page.
